I've heard about these. They are a bit of all three - a bit skill, a bit luck, and a bit gambling. Sometimes you'll get lucky and everyone will be too late to bid more than you. After a while, you'll pick up some skill in knowing when and what to bid on. Sometimes you doubt you'll get something, but you'll take a chance on it and gamble. As with other gambles, sometimes you'll win, sometimes you'll lose. Just don't get carried away. Folks that will get carried away will be trying to buy stuff that they really don't need. After a month, total up all that you spent, and look at what you've actually bought. Ask yourself, "Did I really need this stuff? ", and "Was it worth the money I spent? " If the answer is "no ", then don't waste more time or money. YES, by the way...these things can be addicting if you start treating it like gambling. If you are starting to get an adrenaline rush when you might win a great deal, then you might have to worry about that addictive aspect, too. |
